When We Are Closed

out_of_hoursIn the event of an emergency whilst the surgery is closed between 6.30pm and 8.00 am please telephone NHS 111.

Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor. If the centre decides that the problem is not of an urgent nature you will be asked to contact the surgery during normal working hours.

Our policy, and that of NHS 111, is not to carry out home visits other than in exceptional circumstances, e.g. terminal illness. You must be prepared to travel to the Primary Care Centre after arranging an appointment with them.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
